Properties lost in AIT
Loss has become a common phenomenon in AIT. Loss can happen at the library, in the laboratory, on the road or anywhere else. There are three typical reasons of loss:
- Properties were taken by someone while the owner either went out for a second;
- Properties were dropped by accident;
- Unidentified drop or being taken.
Many cases are very funny (by mistakes that can be written into Guiness); many are serious (bunch of key including president office…), lots of data, money, credit cards, cameras and so on are losts.

- On Sunday December 17, 2006 my wallet was lost (or stolen?!) in front of Dorm X while doing laundry in the evening (6pm). I do care about the money that was in the wallet, but it is difficult to replace the id and family photos.
- If you found it, or have it, could you please give it to Student Union or security? I promise I will not get you in trouble, I just want my id back.
- It would really make my holidays better.

Dear SU and friends,
Last night, I lost my bike in frond of a shop near the cafeteria after only three minutes away to have a solf drink. Actaully, I found it but I spent almost the whole night to walk around to surf for it which I could do nothing esle afterwards.
I am really very sorry to be in such hard experiences and I do not expect that there is such kind of a crimal person at a well-known international graduate school like AIT.
In this mail, I would like to convince that person who commit such qulity as an immoral thief. You did not want to be hard by your own, but you did not care what other unhappiness. I want to ask you that what you did last night was the right thing for you? and is it acceptable for accademic persons like us?
Finally, I would like to suggest SU to take a strong measure on it because we are honest persons facing such unacceptable activities. In addition, we can not bear with rude routines behaved by a few people in a very big community.
