How to Find and Access Curtin Theses

Library Catalogue

The Curtin library catalogue can be searched for theses completed at Curtin. The catalogue indicates if the thesis is available in full-text through the ADT database by displaying a full-text link in the catalogue. If such a link exists the thesis can be downloaded online.

As an alternative you can browse a list of theses by Author that are available to download:

If no full text link is shown in the catalogue the thesis is available in print only and can be accessed using the methods outlined below:

Access the Closed Collection

For those who have access to the Curtin Campus Collection a request can be made to borrow the thesis. To place a request for a Closed Collection item, please come to the Enquiries Desk on Level 2 of the Robertson Library and ask for a Closed Collection Request form.

Complete the form with as many details as possible, including your own name and ID number, the Author, Title and year of the item, together with the shelf number as given on the Curtin Library Catalogue.

Closed Collection items are only available for 2 hour loans, and are only for use in the library.

Accessing a Curtin Thesis Through Document Delivery

A request can be made to purchase at cost a non-returnable copy of a thesis. For those individuals not part of Curtin these requests should be made to your local institutional library. Curtin Staff and students should read our Document Delivery pages for details on recieving print copies of Curtin theses.
